It is not designed for any other purpose. 5. The action of this plate compactor can cause injury or damage if the machine is not used in a careful and controlled way. 6. If you have not used a plate compactor before, familiarise yourself with the machine on some straightforward work before you start on the main task. 7. The following items of personal protective equipment are minimum requirement: goggles: dust mask- a minimum of ffp2 protection; ear muffs or plugs giving protection to reduce exposure to 87dB(A) at the ears: Safety boots; industrial quality gloves. 8. A personal first-aid kit should be available.
