Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a herbal supplement used to treat liver and biliary disorders. It consists of flavonoid complexes, which help fight off free radicals that cause oxidative stress on the body. Dosage and directions for use:
Adults: Take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times per day, or as directed by your healthcare provider

Milk Thistle may mimic the effects of estrogen, and patients with fibroid tumors, endometriosis, breast, uterine or ovarian cancer should consult their healthcare provider before taking Milk Thistle.
